The supporters of SC Tabuas booed when pari-sait-germain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Bessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cristiano Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored pari-sait-germain's protests and gave Cristiano Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Tabuas booed when pari-sait-germain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Luís Viegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Rocha in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Leiria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Vítor Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Leiria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Diogo Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the SC Tabuas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Cabral couldn't finish the play. Afonso Leiria made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Moreira in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Cabral in the 47th minute of play forced pari-sait-germain's goalkeeper Luís Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lourenço Lopes tried in the game's 61st match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Luís Ribeiro. An annoying self made goal, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in SC Tabuas's zone, André Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Leiria came out of the goal and André Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afonso Leiria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Afonso Leiria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Manuel Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The pari-sait-germain fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when pari-sait-germain's José Moreira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Tabuas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
