Álvaro Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aprígio Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Andrade came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Arrancosa FC's Mauro Sales. But to his dismay, Mauro Sales quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Filipe Vieira made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Alexandre Leite sent off a good shot on target. Aprígio Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Bento Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juvenal Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Juvenal Sarmento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Alexandre Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Alexandre Leite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filipe Vieira. Arrancosa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Leite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The supporters of Colmeal FC booed when Arrancosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Sales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Filipe Vieira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ricardo Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Aprígio Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ricardo Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Filipe Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Castro in the 51st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Álvaro Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filipe Vieira was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 55 minutes of play, Colmeal FC's Álvaro Castro made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filipe Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Álvaro Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colmeal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilson Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Arrancosa FC's Filipe Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Castro in the 71st minute of play. Álvaro Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Vieira having to interfere. After some careless play in the Colmeal FC defense, Juvenal Sarmento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Andrade. The Colmeal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Andrade should have stopped the shot. Filipe Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Filipe Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Barros in the 91st minute of play. Álvaro Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Colmeal FC's Álvaro Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Colmeal FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Arrancosa FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Arrancosa FC.
