Spectators: 6654 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 0) Alexandre Azeredo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. MogaDouro's Adolfo Malafaia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Vieira in the 4th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Gago got free with Adolfo Malafaia in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Verdelhos's Danilo Vieira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adolfo Malafaia. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. Adolfo Malafaia made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Hamilton Lima sent off a good shot on target. Danilo Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danilo Vieira might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Malafaia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Vieira ran back to his position shaking his head. Porfírio Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Márcio Lustosa went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute Márcio Lustosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porfírio Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Laurentino Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verdelhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MogaDouro the free kick. Laurentino Soares hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. MogaDouro's Gaspar Espinosa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Porfírio Varela in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hamilton Lima hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Porfírio Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Lustosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Vieira made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Alexandre Azeredo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Porfírio Varela to make any attempt to save it. In the 69th minute, Hugo Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 82 minutes, Hamilton Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verdelhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamilton Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamilton Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Malafaia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Vieira in the 90th minute of play.
