Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) Germil FC's Nuno Baptista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Barros in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasco Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armindo Pereira hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Germil FC's zone, Mariano Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasco Leão came out of the goal and Mariano Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, SC Belas's Mariano Barros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vasco Leão. Vasco Leão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Joel Aleixo's late challenge caught a SC Belas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Aleixo helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Germil FC! Vasco Leão went to the wrong direction when Nuno Azevedo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Gaspar Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Mendes in the 20th minute of play. Nuno Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gaspar Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes SC Belas got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Sá. If Daniel Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nuno Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Torres having to interfere. Nuno Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gaspar Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Assunção could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Vasco Leão made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Assunção got free with Vasco Leão in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mariano Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mariano Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 53rd minute, Nuno Baptista fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. SC Belas's Gaspar Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Baptista in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Germil FC's Lúcio Dantas got a free kick in the 57th minute. SC Belas's Gaspar Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save SC Belas from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Mendes got free with Gaspar Torres in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 67 minutes, Ricardo Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Belas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Assunção was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gaspar Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Nuno Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, SC Belas's goalkeeper Gaspar Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Mendes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Barros in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vasco Leão saved Germil FC from getting behind. Ricardo Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vasco Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lúcio Dantas hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Belas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germil FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
