Torneira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bento Sardinha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ronaldo Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Sardinha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Renato Rebocho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ronaldo Teles quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 25 minutes into the game, Bento Sardinha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ronaldo Teles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jairo Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torneira FC's Ronaldo Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Sardinha in the 38th minute of play. Armando Pessoa kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Zeferino Pimentel notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Torneira FC's Ronaldo Teles. Ronaldo Teles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filinto Tristão's late challenge caught a Samo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filinto Tristão helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Filinto Tristão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes, Samo FC's Renato Rebocho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronaldo Teles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Samo FC reached it. Zeferino Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldo Teles having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bento Sardinha made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeferino Pimentel got free with Ronaldo Teles in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Torneira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Sardinha came free, but Ronaldo Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Torneira FC's Jairo Quadros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Matos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jairo Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Matos having to interfere. Zeferino Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zeferino Pimentel came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Samo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeferino Pimentel couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, Torneira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Sardinha came free, but Ronaldo Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Matos having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Jairo Quadros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Torneira FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Samo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Samo FC.
