Spectators: 6642 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Soares to strike the kick off in the second half. Óscar Fontes struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Tiago Correia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio Meão. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Óscar Fontes in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 56 played minutes Guilhabreu FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Esteves. Óscar Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiago Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Óscar Fontes's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Jorge Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guilhabreu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Pádua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 65 minutes, Fernando Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guilhabreu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Rio Meão's Timóteo Quintanilha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Correia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Óscar Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Rio Meão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Óscar Fontes couldn't finish the play.
