Fábio Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Maule in the 7th minute of play. With a little luck, ICE's Gil Soares got control of the ball when Rui Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 9 played minutes ICE got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Setúbal. Canoa F.C.'s Fábio Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Trindade in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Canoa F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Trindade came free, but Fábio Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ICE's Gil Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Andrade in the 16th minute of play. Gil Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Andrade in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Afonso Trindade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ICE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Fábio Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Marques in the 25th minute of the match. Horacio Maule scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fábio Macedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute Heitor Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, ICE's goal looked a bit too open when André Almeida came free, but Gil Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Andrade in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Horacio Maule left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ICE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Fábio Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Setúbal, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Fábio Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Maule in the 42nd minute of play. Fábio Macedo came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by ICE's Julian Hodas. But to his dismay, Julian Hodas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heitor Andrade was the one to do the kick off. Gil Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Andrade in the 52nd minute of play. Gil Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, ICE's Horacio Maule got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 63rd minute, Heitor Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Heitor Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fábio Macedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Horacio Maule showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 67 minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Canoa F.C.'s goalkeeper Fábio Macedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Marques. Fábio Macedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Marques in the 81st minute. Gil Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heitor Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Marques in the 87th minute of play forced Canoa F.C.'s goalkeeper Fábio Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
