Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nuno Leal started the match with the kick off. Diogo Viegas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomé Medeiros having to make a save. 8 minutes into the match, Nuno Leal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tomé Medeiros, 1-0. Diogo Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Tomé Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Gouveia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Januário Semedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danilo Gouveia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jacinto Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Danilo Gouveia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Sport Clube Frielas's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Leal came free, but Tomé Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Diogo Viegas sped through Sport Clube Frielas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomé Medeiros. Delfim Porto, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 47th minute, Diogo Viegas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomé Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Januário Semedo made a kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Diogo Viegas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Tomé Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomé Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Viegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute of the game, Basílio Maia landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 70th match minute, Ruivoz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Gouveias short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Jacinto Martins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Ruivoz FC's Bernardo Trindade got a free kick in the 76th minute. Danilo Gouveia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Martins having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ruivoz FC's zone, Ricardo Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Martins came out of the goal and Ricardo Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diogo Viegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Sport Clube Frielas's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Leal came free, but Tomé Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes Sport Clube Frielas got a freekick which was hit by Januário Semedo. Tomé Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ruivoz FC fully deserved thier win.
