Jaime Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Assobreiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Faria came free, but Amadeu Morais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeu Morais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Brás in the 25th minute of play. Assobreiras FC's Amadeu Morais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Brás in the 29th minute of play. A hard shot by Vasco Alves from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Jaime Faria's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 35th minute, one of Cumeada:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cumeada. Jaime Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Faria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mário Resende in the 41st minute. Tiago Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Amadeu Morais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oliveira Macedo during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oliveira Macedo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Vasco Alves hit a great ball. Amadeu Morais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Brás, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Mário Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Assobreiras FC's Rafael Moutinho got a free kick in the 82nd minute.
