The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Borba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Armando Borba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Pedrulheira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Borba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Prates showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Borba in the 61st minute of the match. SC Novelhos's Norberto Miguéis got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th match minute, SC Novelhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Figueiras to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Carvalho hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of SC Pedrulheira booed when SC Novelhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emílio Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabino Seixas, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
