Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonçalo Cordeiro was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes SC Pereiras got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Cruz. The audience was convinced that Duarte Moniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Tristão was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Duarte Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Tristão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 90th minute Emílio Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Tristão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of pargueiros were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant SC Pereiras side.
