In the 44th minute Severiano Aleixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Raul Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Merujais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EsCoBaR TeaM the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severiano Aleixo made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in EsCoBaR TeaM's zone, Severiano Aleixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Samuel Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Merujais's Tomé Valadares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
