Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abel Sá started the match with the kick off. Sanguinhaes's Amílcar Campos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Sá in the 4th minute of play. Guilherme Vilaça kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Guilherme Laureano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cabbar Palabıyık in the 9th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Sanguinhaes got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Freitas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cabbar Palabıyık in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guilherme Laureano saved Codixeira from getting behind. Eusébio Igrejas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Codixeira's Guilherme Vilaça got his second yellow card of the match in the 22nd minute. The referee ordered Guilherme Vilaça off the ground. After 23 played minutes Codixeira got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Vilaça. Guilherme Laureano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cabbar Palabıyık in the 28th minute of the match. Rui Vieira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Guilherme Laureano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cabbar Palabıyık in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guilherme Laureano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the game, Abel Sá cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Amílcar Campos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cabbar Palabıyık received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Guilherme Laureano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Cabbar Palabıyık managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanguinhaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Cabbar Palabıyık was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilherme Laureano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rui Vieira scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guilherme Laureano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Vieira to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sanguinhaes's Cabbar Palabıyık got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After some careless play in the Codixeira defense, Rui Vieira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guilherme Laureano. The Codixeira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme Laureano should have stopped the shot. Cabbar Palabıyık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Codixeira's Guilherme Laureano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cabbar Palabıyık in the 62nd minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Codixeira's Heitor Casado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amílcar Campos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The supporters of Sanguinhaes booed when Codixeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo Ferrão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cabbar Palabıyık scored 4-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guilherme Laureano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Cabbar Palabıyık came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Sanguinhaes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cabbar Palabıyık couldn't finish the play. Guilherme Laureano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cabbar Palabıyık in the 85th minute of the match. Rui Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Guilherme Laureano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guilherme Laureano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 96 played minutes Codixeira got a freekick which was hit by Abel Moutinho. In the 97th minute, Cabbar Palabıyık ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilherme Laureano was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Sanguinhaes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
