Basílio Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Carvalhal, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Jorge Oliveira hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Afonso Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Aphelius's Hélio Palha got control of the ball when Gaspar Pinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 15 played minutes Aphelius got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Domingues. In the 17th minute, one of Aphelius:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aphelius. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederico Carvalhal in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basílio Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimiro Vilanova sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hélio Palha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonso Lima in the 30th minute. Basílio Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Carvalhal in the 34th minute of the match. If Basílio Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Oliveira during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, All blacks FC's Jorge Oliveira got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Lisandro Leão fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aphelius's protests and gave Lisandro Leão a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aphelius getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Lisandro Leão hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Gaspar Pinto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hélio Palha. The goal made the score 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederico Carvalhal to make the kick off. Gaspar Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Joaquim Ferreira made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Aphelius's Lisandro Leão. Frederico Carvalhal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Silva having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Aphelius's Lisandro Leão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basílio Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Aphelius's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Lima came free, but Hélio Palha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélio Palha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, All blacks FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Carvalhal came free, but Basílio Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, All blacks FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Aphelius's Lisandro Leão got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 86 played minutes All blacks FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Lima. Vladimiro Vilanova received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Basílio Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederico Carvalhal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All blacks FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Aphelius had controlled the match.
