Vilar Torpim FC's Porfírio Assis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Montreux FC. 22 minutes into the match, Montreux FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quintino Estrela came free, but Vítor Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolau Ferreira made a kick off. Vasco Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Cassiano Lage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Montreux FC's goalkeeper Vítor Henriques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolau Ferreira. Cassiano Lage could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Vítor Henriques made a huge save.
