Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when António Henriques took the kick off in the first half of the match. VILAR DO GOLF FC's Isidoro Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mário Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Santarém, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Cristóvão Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tobias Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, VILAR DO GOLF FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Nogueira came free, but Tobias Coelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Leite in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Trigueiro in the 12th minute of play forced Murtosa's goalkeeper Mário Brás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emanuel Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, André Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Henriques might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Coelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. António Henriques ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute, Emanuel Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 27 minutes, António Henriques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murtosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Henriques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard, long distance shot from Cristóvão Melo flew over the goal. Murtosa's Cristóvão Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. António Henriques's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Tobias Coelho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tobias Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Tobias Coelho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Emanuel Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tobias Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Adalberto Estrela put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Murtosa a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by António Henriques, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of VILAR DO GOLF FC's Tobias Coelho. 1-0. António Henriques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tobias Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Emanuel Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Murtosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in VILAR DO GOLF FC's zone, António Henriques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Coelho came out of the goal and António Henriques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mário Brás made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egídio Trigueiro in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute, André Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristóvão Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Tobias Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murtosa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling António Henriques in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Coelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute Gil Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Coelho having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Murtosa's Emanuel Rodrigues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tobias Coelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gil Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 minutes, Egídio Trigueiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VILAR DO GOLF FC and the Murtosa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, VILAR DO GOLF FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Trigueiro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Murtosa booed when VILAR DO GOLF FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albérico Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 played minutes VILAR DO GOLF FC got a freekick which was hit by Albérico Cortez. Murtosa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
