Diamantino Barros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severino Bernardes. Lobos Aromáticos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 22nd minute Leonel Macieira saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Figueiredo during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lobos Aromáticos booed when Degracias FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Nuno Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sabino Brandão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 minutes of play Degracias FC's Emanuel Figueiredo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 29th minute, Emanuel Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cândido Araújo came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lobos Aromáticos's Sabino Brandão. But to his dismay, Sabino Brandão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 35th match minute, Degracias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Barros to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Lobos Aromáticos getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Sabino Brandão hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Veríssimo Raposo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobos Aromáticos's supporters rose to their feet, but Veríssimo Raposo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cândido Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sabino Brandão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Homero Matias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lobos Aromáticos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Degracias FC the free kick. The supporters of Degracias FC booed when Lobos Aromáticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Homero Matias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sabino Brandão to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Veríssimo Raposo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lobos Aromáticos booed when Degracias FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Degracias FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Cordeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cândido Araújo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sabino Brandão scored 3-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cândido Araújo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 79 played minutes Degracias FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Oliveira. 85 minutes into the game, Nuno Rodrigues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Degracias FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lobos Aromáticos the free kick. After 85 played minutes Degracias FC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Rodrigues. When Lobos Aromáticos's Sabino Brandão in 86 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cândido Araújo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Carlos Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Sabino Brandão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 92 minutes of play, Lobos Aromáticos's Jerónimo Durães made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cândido Araújo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Adão Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Lobos Aromáticos were the better team. Lobos Aromáticos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
