Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Artur Coelho got the match started through his kick off. João Lisboa charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Lisboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Barbudo getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. João Lisboa hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the game, Artur Coelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. David Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 10 minutes, Tiago Faria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Barbudo and the Pombaria FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tiago Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 13th play minutes Carlos Almeida shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Daniel Nascimento and just under the crossbar into goal. Daniel Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Almeida in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Pombaria FC's goalkeeper Daniel Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim Leiria. Joaquim Leiria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Almeida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Nascimento having to make a save. Joaquim Leiria struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Daniel Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Barbudo. Daniel Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Carlos Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. David Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Pombaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Tomé to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Leiria got free with Daniel Nascimento in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Joaquim Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Carlos Almeida made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Carlos Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Artur Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Homero Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Daniel Nascimento came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Barbudo's Joaquim Leiria. But to his dismay, Joaquim Leiria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Joaquim Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Coelho in the 66th minute of play forced Pombaria FC's goalkeeper Daniel Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Homero Mourinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Almeida. SC Barbudo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Leiria in the 71st minute of play forced Pombaria FC's goalkeeper Daniel Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carlos Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Joaquim Leiria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Coelho in the 76th minute of play. Cesário Fiúza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. David Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Nascimento having to interfere. When Carlos Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the SC Barbudo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Almeida couldn't finish the play. After 88 minutes of play, SC Barbudo's Joaquim Leiria made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the match, Pombaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Almeida came free, but Daniel Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Barbudo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
