After a defensive mix-up in FC Lisboa's zone, Xavier Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Américo Pires came out of the goal and Xavier Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Lisboa's Américo Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Leão in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Sebastião Assunção hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Paredes having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

JuveArmamar's Bento Morais was substituted for Xavier Leão. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Castro was the one to do the kick off. Américo Pires was a little too slow when Sebastião Assunção got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-1. With a little luck, FC Lisboa's Américo Pires got control of the ball when Bernardo Pedroso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute, Bento Morais left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JuveArmamar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to JuveArmamar getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bento Morais hit a great ball. Júlio Paredes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Castro's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 74th minute of the match Nikos Kafetzopoulos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Júlio Paredes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. JuveArmamar's attentive Alexandre Lopes managed to snatch the ball when Miguel Campos made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. During the 78th minute of the match Sebastião Assunção completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sebastião Assunção a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, JuveArmamar's Sebastião Assunção got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in JuveArmamar's zone, Nikos Kafetzopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The referee ignored JuveArmamar's protests and gave Dawid Marchefka a yellow card for diving instead. FC Lisboa's Diogo Torres was substituted for Viriato Fonseca. Dawid Marchefka kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded JuveArmamar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Lisboa.
