Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Moura kicked off to start the match. If Daniel Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Alijo's Daniel Moura slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquim Caires. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Daniel Moura might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquim Caires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Moura ran back to his position shaking his head. Abibas FC's Joaquim Caires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Moura in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Cristiano Linhares made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto Gonçalves. SC Alijo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. SC Alijo's Jacinto Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Valadão in the 21st minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, SC Alijo's Inácio Abreu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquim Caires was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Linhares in the 30th minute of play forced SC Alijo's goalkeeper Jacinto Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Abibas FC's Enzo Valadão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Gonçalves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Enzo Valadão notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of SC Alijo's Jacinto Gonçalves. Jacinto Gonçalves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Linhares was the one to do the kick off. Paulo Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Joaquim Caires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Alijo. Estevão Macena charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Estevão Macena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Estevão Macena hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, SC Alijo's Lucas Neves tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Joaquim Caires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Daniel Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, SC Alijo's Paulo Carneiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Caires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of SC Alijo booed when Abibas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estevão Macena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Alijo's zone, Enzo Valadão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Gonçalves came out of the goal and Enzo Valadão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Caires having to interfere. When Paulo Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the SC Alijo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Carneiro couldn't finish the play. If Enzo Valadão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, SC Alijo's Lucas Neves seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lucas Neves the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Alijo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lucas Neves had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Enzo Valadão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Linhares in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Gonçalves saved SC Alijo from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Abibas FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
