Spectators: 5020 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nuno Eanes started the match with the kick off. When Wilson Coimbra came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Aveleiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Coimbra couldn't finish the play. Carlos Moniz charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Moniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Chamoinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Moniz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Aveleiras booed when Chamoinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Nuno Eanes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aveleiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Eanes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chamoinha's Alexandre Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Eanes in the 14th minute of play. Luís Trigueiro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Bacelar during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Aveleiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Bacelar to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Aveleiras getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Renato Bacelar hit a great ball. Nuno Eanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Fernandes having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Aveleiras's Renato Bacelar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chamoinha's goalkeeper Alexandre Fernandes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gil Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Eanes in the 47th minute of play forced Chamoinha's goalkeeper Alexandre Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingos Paredes to strike the kick off in the second half. When Chamoinha's Domingos Paredes in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aveleiras's goalie prevented a goal. After 56 minutes, Manuel Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chamoinha and the Aveleiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chamoinha's Manuel Aguiar got a free kick in the 56th minute. Aveleiras's Nuno Eanes got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Aguiar hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Nuno Eanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Costa got free with Abílio Varanda in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 69 minutes of play, Aveleiras's Nuno Eanes made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Fernandes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abílio Varanda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gil Costa went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 77 played minutes Chamoinha got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Brito. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Wilson Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aveleiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Coimbra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilson Coimbra in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Fernandes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute Wilson Coimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nuno Eanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Chamoinha's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Eanes came free, but Alexandre Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Trigueiro charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Trigueiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gustavo Brito hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Aveleiras players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
