Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gualterio Santikurtz started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, F.C. TER Hurten's André Leite got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute Torcato Calado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes F.C. TER Hurten got a freekick which was hit by André Leite. André Leite's late challenge caught a Sportyng FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Leite helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes F.C. TER Hurten got a freekick which was hit by André Leite. André Leite got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 30 played minutes, Sportyng FC's Abel Infante shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafael Viegas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sportyng FC reached it. A hard shot 32 in the game by Gualterio Santikurtz from a close distance when the talented Lucílio Abrantes managed to make a qualified save. Sportyng FC's players were relieved. Lucílio Abrantes made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Albertino Amaro sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter lacerda in the 39th minute of play forced F.C. TER Hurten's goalkeeper Rafael Viegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, F.C. TER Hurten's Hélder Mendes got a free kick in the 39th minute. Rafael Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Frois, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for F.C. TER Hurten! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herberto Paião to make the kick off. Gualterio Santikurtz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herberto Paião, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Torcato Calado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Viegas. F.C. TER Hurten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torcato Calado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, F.C. TER Hurten's Hélder Mendes got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, F.C. TER Hurten's Filipe Castro got a free kick in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herberto Paião in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Viegas saved F.C. TER Hurten from getting behind. Rafael Viegas came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportyng FC's Vicente Frois. But to his dismay, Vicente Frois quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torcato Calado got free with Rafael Viegas in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafael Viegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valter lacerda in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Gualterio Santikurtz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucílio Abrantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Sportyng FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
