If Virgílio Diegues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 8 minutes, Artur Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timpeira WFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Ademar Guterres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Andrezes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timpeira WFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Andrezes's Ademar Guterres got a free kick in the 12th minute. Gonçalo Delgado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aloísio Peixoto. SC Andrezes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Artur Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aloísio Peixoto. SC Andrezes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artur Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Artur Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Aloísio Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Virgílio Diegues dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Óscar Domingues, 1-1. Adolfo Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Peixoto having to interfere. Aloísio Peixoto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Moura went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Alípio Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Domingues having to interfere. Óscar Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alípio Maia in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alípio Maia to strike the kick off in the second half. Adolfo Guerreiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aloísio Peixoto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Guerreiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Timpeira WFC's Hugo Leiria managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jacob Rijo in the 57 minute of the game. Aloísio Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Guerreiro in the 58th minute of the match. Alípio Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Óscar Domingues having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Artur Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Timpeira WFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 75thth minute of the game Adolfo Guerreiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Andrezes's Aloísio Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aloísio Peixoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolfo Guerreiro's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Adolfo Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Peixoto having to interfere. When Artur Moura came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Timpeira WFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Moura couldn't finish the play. Óscar Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alípio Maia in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Timpeira WFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Andrezes throughout the match.
