Carrico's Germano Quintanilha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Henriques in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, Carapita's Carlos Faria got control of the ball when João lago tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Jacob Martins was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 94th minute Gustavo Henriques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Quintanilha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carapita were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Carrico for a fine match.
