Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Paulo Domingues made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Lencastre in the 7th minute of play forced Barcos FC's goalkeeper Manuel Coimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sostrova FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Tomás França hit a great ball. Paulo Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. João Seixas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Barcos FC's Sebastião Dias tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Manuel Coimbra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Taveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th play minute Adelino Castro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised João Seixas. 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, Sostrova FC's Rui Lencastre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Coimbra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Paulo Domingues recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Seixas. Paulo Domingues showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 39th minute, Enzo Taveira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sostrova FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Paulo Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enzo Taveira made a kick off. Adelino Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Seixas having to interfere. In the 58th minute Adelino Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Seixas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Taveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Soares hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Barcos FC's Manuel Coimbra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílcar Coutinho in the 66th minute of play. Barcos FC's Manuel Coimbra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Barcos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute Paulo Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Seixas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Emílio Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Seixas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Enzo Taveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Barcos FC defense, Rui Lencastre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Coimbra. The Barcos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Coimbra should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Rui Lencastre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sostrova FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Sebastião Dias's late challenge caught a Sostrova FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastião Dias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, Barcos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Dias to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sostrova FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
