Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Mourisquense's Rogério Cabral started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mourisquense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Valentim Rijo scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Melo, making the score, 1-0. Carlos Melo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Diamantino Lages. An unexpectedly hard shot by Homero Barata in the 20th minute of play forced Mourisquense's goalkeeper Carlos Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Rogério Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dores's goalkeeper Filipe Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 29 minutes, Rogério Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mourisquense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Dores's goal looked a bit too open when Vasco Moreira came free, but Filipe Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 played minutes Dores got a freekick which was hit by Hermes Salazar. If Vasco Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Homero Barata to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Pedro Passos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Melo skillfully saved the ball. Carlos Melo came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Dores's Cássio Lages. But to his dismay, Cássio Lages quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Dores's Filipe Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Dores from getting a goal against them. After having played for 77 minutes, Vasco Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mourisquense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasco Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vasco Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Moura having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dores's zone, Ricardo Yeste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Moura came out of the goal and Ricardo Yeste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute Cássio Lages shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mourisquense's Carlos Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Lages in the 94th minute of play. Mourisquense's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Dores had won, even though Mourisquense had held more of the ball.
