Spectators: 6676 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aparício Salvado kicked off to start the match. Manuel Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but João Toscano made a huge save. 7 minutes into the game, Humberto Borba recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Toscano. Humberto Borba showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Rui Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Moita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute of the match, Manuel Martins got a very nice opportunity to score, but João Toscano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Humberto Borba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. João Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of F3sport booed when SC Figueiredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Amaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Borba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th match minute, F3sport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Lima to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind F3sport's goalkeeper João Toscano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Humberto Borba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filipe Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of F3sport booed when SC Figueiredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Américo Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Toscano having to interfere. João Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Martins in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Martins in the 61st minute of play forced F3sport's goalkeeper João Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind F3sport's goalkeeper João Toscano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of F3sport:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Figueiredo:s goal. 72 minutes into the match, F3sport's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Borba came free, but João Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in F3sport's zone, Humberto Borba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Toscano came out of the goal and Humberto Borba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the game, Manuel Martins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. João Toscano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the F3sport defense, Humberto Borba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Toscano. The F3sport fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Toscano should have stopped the shot. João Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Martins in the 96th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Manuel Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Figueiredo's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Martins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Toscano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the SC Figueiredo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
