Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SC Belem's Jorge Reis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frederico Menezes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Barbosa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Menezes in the 5th minute of play forced SC Belem's goalkeeper Jaime Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Artur Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 played minutes, SC Belem's Filipe Ferreira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Máximo Lemos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Belem reached it. Lourenço Paiva hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Abreu got free with Jaime Barbosa in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 played minutes SC Belem got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Neto. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateus Vasques during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mateus Vasques kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Máximo Lemos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Alves in the 20th minute of play. Elias Raposo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elias Raposo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Frederico Menezes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jaime Barbosa. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Jaime Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Menezes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Frederico Menezes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jaime Barbosa. Frederico Menezes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The supporters of A.D.Lousada booed when SC Belem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Trindade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Neto hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SC Belem's Marco Luz got a free kick in the 41st minute. Elias Raposo got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 45th minute, Elias Raposo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in A.D.Lousada's zone, Artur Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Máximo Lemos came out of the goal and Artur Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Joel Abreu made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SC Belem's zone, Mateus Vasques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Barbosa came out of the goal and Mateus Vasques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Joel Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D.Lousada's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mateus Vasques hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Artur Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Belem's goalkeeper Jaime Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filipe Branco hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. SC Belem's Jaime Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Abreu in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jorge Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Belem's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máximo Lemos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Belem fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! A.D.Lousada's Rubim Bento got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96thth minute of the game Joel Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Belem's Jaime Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A.D.Lousada fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Belem had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
