Poeira's José Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Moura in the 13th minute of play. José Gueifão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Bessa went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fábio Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Vítor Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Domingos Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Óscar Araújo got free with José Gueifão in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardo Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Gueifão having to interfere. Jaime Bessa kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Vítor Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Óscar Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rodrigo Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Fábio Monteiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vítor Marques was relentless in the 86th minute of the game.
