The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rio-Ave's André Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Águas in the 3rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bairro Team Fc's Caio Águas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Delgado. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. André Delgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caio Águas in the 11th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Rio-Ave's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Aguiar came free, but André Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Ventura came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio-Ave's Ricardo Esteves. But to his dismay, Ricardo Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. André Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Aguiar in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Männik in the 31st minute of play forced Bairro Team Fc's goalkeeper Ricardo Ventura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Peter Männik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Ventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Aguiar hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Ademar Azeredo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Rio-Ave's André Delgado. André Delgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Bairro Team Fc's Caio Águas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind André Delgado. André Delgado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When Ricardo Esteves got free in front of the goal in the 58th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ricardo Ventura was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Esteves in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Ventura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, Bairro Team Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Esteves came free, but Ricardo Ventura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Esteves in the 73rd minute of play forced Rio-Ave's goalkeeper André Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Männik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ricardo Ventura made a huge save. With his leg Ricardo Ventura managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Rio-Ave's Ricardo Esteves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Peter Männik charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Männik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rio-Ave's Peter Männik got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Ademar Azeredo notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Rio-Ave's André Delgado. André Delgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bairro Team Fc's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
