Artur Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 13 minutes, Vítor Lisboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GUARDA FC and the Bairro Fontainha Hardcore players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Gilesindo Rey got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With an all-out effort, Bairro Fontainha Hardcore's Daniel Garcia threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Raimundo Alvarenga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 27th minute, Manuel Iancu made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Garcia. GUARDA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Bairro Fontainha Hardcore's Hugo Borba got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Gilesindo Rey came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Bairro Fontainha Hardcore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilesindo Rey couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Bairro Fontainha Hardcore's zone, Rui Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Oliveira came out of the goal and Rui Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Vítor Lisboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Raimundo Alvarenga made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Alvarenga in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute Manuel Iancu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilesindo Rey in the 58th minute of the match.
