To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Aldo Portugal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Azurem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.

Saúl Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Portugal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Luz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Afonso Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualter Gago in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Luz saved SC Roxo from getting behind.
