Spectators: 6994 (Terracing: 5353, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gualter Gago took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Gualter Gago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Gualter Gago managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Azurem's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter Gago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torcato Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aldo Portugal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Gualter Gago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gualter Gago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torcato Paiva having to interfere. Gualter Gago hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Óscar Lameirinhas sped through SC Azurem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Saúl Pais. Raimundo Corte-Real kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. SC Terroal's Jairo Faria shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Saúl Pais but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in SC Azurem's zone, Óscar Lameirinhas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saúl Pais came out of the goal and Óscar Lameirinhas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zacarias Gonçalves was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to SC Terroal getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Romão Luz hit a great ball. Aldo Portugal struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Torcato Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Azurem. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Octávio Fagundes to strike the kick off in the second half. Torcato Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Gago in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute Óscar Lameirinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saúl Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octávio Fagundes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the game, SC Terroal's Óscar Lameirinhas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saúl Pais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Aldo Portugal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Torcato Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SC Azurem booed when SC Terroal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Gouveia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Gualter Gago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Azurem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter Gago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SC Terroal's Torcato Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Gago in the 81st minute of play. Octávio Fagundes scored 3-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saúl Pais, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to SC Azurem getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Teófilo Bezerra hit a great ball. Jairo Faria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saúl Pais. SC Azurem's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aldo Portugal had several of the SC Terroal's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Torcato Paiva as he didn't even see the shot coming. The SC Terroal support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
