Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bensafrim's Tiago Correia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Pascoal Águas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bensafrim! Bensafrim:s Delfim Carneiro showed great skill when he stopped Carlos Pegado:s penalty. Delfim Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gentil Pádua, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Gentil Pádua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delfim Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 19th minute, António Saraiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Valpedre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Delfim Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gentil Pádua, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gentil Pádua in the 23rd minute of play forced Bensafrim's goalkeeper Delfim Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A very good chance for a goal. If Gentil Pádua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute António Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute Tiago Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Mafra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gentil Pádua made a kick off. Delfim Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentil Pádua in the 52nd minute of the match. Delfim Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by António Saraiva in the 59th minute. Jorge Amaral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Mafra. Pascoal Águas helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes SC Valpedre got a freekick which was hit by Pascoal Águas. In the 71st minute of the match Paulo Esteves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Mafra skillfully saved the ball. Delfim Carneiro was a little too slow when Gentil Pádua got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-2. Delfim Carneiro made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when António Saraiva sent off a good shot on target. When Pascoal Águas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. After 86 played minutes SC Valpedre got a freekick which was hit by Pascoal Águas. In the 89thth minute of the game Tiago Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Valpedre's Bernardo Mafra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miguel Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Bernardo Mafra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Valpedre players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
