Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tiago Correia got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Garcia got free with Delfim Carneiro in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Bensafrim's goal looked a bit too open when António Gomes came free, but Delfim Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Garcia struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Delfim Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Curvite. In the 12th match minute, Bensafrim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Leal to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Abel Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Moniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tiago Correia came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Bensafrim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Correia couldn't finish the play. Abel Bessa took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Moniz. Rui Moniz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bruno Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Delfim Carneiro made a huge save. Abel Bessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rui Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Campos scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delfim Carneiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Bensafrim's goal looked a bit too open when António Gomes came free, but Delfim Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Dias hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers António Gomes in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delfim Carneiro saved Bensafrim from getting behind. Bensafrim's Delfim Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Gomes in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. António Gomes was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Bensafrim's Paulo Esteves got a free kick in the 51st minute. Rui Moniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Correia's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Bensafrim's goal looked a bit too open when António Gomes came free, but Delfim Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match João Melo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Moniz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Jorge Amaral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Moniz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 66 played minutes SC Curvite got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Campos. Tiago Correia kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 67thth minute. Though ot was a great shot SC Curvite's keeper Rui Moniz was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Nuno Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Correia in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Moniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rui Moniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Correia's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Rui Moniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Bessa in the 79th minute. If Bruno Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If António Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Bessa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rui Moniz having to make a save. Bensafrim's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
