Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rogério Cruz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luís Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Cruz in the 5th minute of the match. Meirinhos FC's João Faria pulled a muscle in his back after 11 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Gonçalves during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, one of SC Alcafaz:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Alcafaz. In the 16th minute, Jorge Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 17 played minutes SC Alcafaz got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Soares. Luís Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Soares struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Luís Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Alcafaz. Alexandre Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Meirinhos FC's Humberto Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Leão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. João Sousa struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Carlos Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meirinhos FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Meirinhos FC's Humberto Leão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Mendes. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. Carlos Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Barbosa in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jorge Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Bessa struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Carlos Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meirinhos FC. Raul Soares in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luís Rocha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 71st minute, Humberto Leão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Carlos Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Meirinhos FC's Luís Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Meirinhos FC from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, Meirinhos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Cruz came free, but Luís Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Óscar Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Miguel Gueifão sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Alcafaz's Carlos Mendes didn't even have to move. SC Alcafaz's Carlos Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Leão in the 87th minute of play. Raul Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Luís Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Mendes having to interfere.
