With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Campelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, CAF TRUKU's Tan Baştuğ dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Garcez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The SC Frechao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Campelo should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ennio Taccone in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Campelo saved SC Frechao from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in SC Frechao's zone, Tan Baştuğ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Campelo came out of the goal and Tan Baştuğ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Ennio Taccone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Campelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tan Baştuğ scored 8-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Campelo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
