Spectators: 6641 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1641, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ramiro Gonçalves started the match with the kick off. Basílio Garcez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lisandro Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Concelhos booed when Aveia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Neves was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eduardo Barbosa. Danilo Igrejas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Neves having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Pedro Mansilha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aveia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Mansilha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Vilhena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Aveia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basílio Garcez came free, but Lisandro Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Pedro Mansilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Vilhena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Neves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Basílio Garcez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a little luck, Concelhos's David Vilhena got control of the ball when Pedro Mansilha tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Concelhos's Jairo Salvado got a free kick in the 56th minute. Jairo Salvado was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. David Vilhena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Gonçalves in the 69th minute of play. Hélder Serpa didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 72nd minute. Aveia FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeferino Malheiro during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Mansilha got free with David Vilhena in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Vilhena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Gonçalves's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Zeferino Malheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, one of Aveia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aveia FC. Concelhos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
