The supporters of Irivo booed when Bernico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Altino Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Irivo's Luís Rocha got a free kick in the 88th minute. Irivo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
