Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mateus Caires took the kick off in the first half of the match. José Boaventura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oliveira Viana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Sebastião Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute, Feliteira's Eusébio Ramos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Feliteira's Sebastião Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quintino Barroso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, David Regalado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SL Benfica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Feliteira the free kick. After having played for 14 minutes, Amadeu Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feliteira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute of the match Anselmo Amorim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oliveira Viana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sebastião Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, SL Benfica's Quintino Barroso got control of the ball when Amadeu Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, SL Benfica's goalkeeper Quintino Barroso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu Barros. After 32 minutes, Aquilino Laureano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SL Benfica and the Feliteira players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Vladimiro Gameiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SL Benfica's Quintino Barroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Rocha in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastião Rocha to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Mateus Caires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by José Boaventura got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 53 minutes into the match, Feliteira's goalkeeper Oliveira Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Boaventura. Quintino Barroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quintino Barroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Josué Vigário kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Amadeu Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SL Benfica were furious when Rúben Mendes was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in SL Benfica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Quintino Barroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If José Boaventura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SL Benfica getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Horácio Rodrigues hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, SL Benfica's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Rocha came free, but Quintino Barroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Sebastião Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quintino Barroso was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Feliteira's zone, José Boaventura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliveira Viana came out of the goal and José Boaventura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Feliteira getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Lourenço Correia hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, André Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Feliteira fans cheered their team off the field, for while SL Benfica had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
