Gabriel Ribas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Paulo Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolau Domingos in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Fernando Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alípio Mourinho. SC Ruivas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Ribas got free with Paulo Resende in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Gentil, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Amorim in the 26th minute of play forced SC Ruivas's goalkeeper Alípio Mourinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tecnos's Paulo Resende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolau Domingos in the 27th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Márcio Gentil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Ruivas and the Tecnos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alípio Mourinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Leite went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to SC Ruivas getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gabriel Ribas hit a great ball. When Paulo Matias came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Tecnos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Matias couldn't finish the play. After 44 played minutes, Tecnos's Jorge Leite shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alípio Mourinho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tecnos reached it. In the 45th minute, Alberto Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alípio Mourinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The SC Ruivas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tecnos were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SC Ruivas's zone, Fernando Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alípio Mourinho came out of the goal and Fernando Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolau Domingos kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Alípio Mourinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Amorim in the 69th minute. Jorge Leite lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Tecnos's Jorge Leite got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, SC Ruivas's Israel Benevides tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Paulo Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Ribas in the 78th minute of the match. Fernando Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alípio Mourinho having to interfere. If Abel Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, SC Ruivas's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Matias came free, but Alípio Mourinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes Tecnos got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Jesus. In the 91st minute Ricardo Baldaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Abel Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Paulo Miranda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alípio Mourinho. The goal made the score 0-3.
