If Eusébio Palhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascoal Bragança in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Sardinha saved Trandeiras FC from getting behind. Ernie Ennis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Sardinha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascoal Bragança in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Pascoal Bragança cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Elias Sardinha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Canove's Alfredo Rebelo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Benedykt Latkiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristides Amado in the 33rd minute. Elias Sardinha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Sarmento in the 35th minute of the match. Elias Sardinha came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Canove's Pascoal Bragança. But to his dismay, Pascoal Bragança quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pascoal Bragança received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Elias Sardinha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Canove were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusébio Palhares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Pascoal Bragança took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Elias Sardinha to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Palhares in the 63rd minute of play forced Canove's goalkeeper Benedykt Latkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Éder Domingues got free with Elias Sardinha in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Trandeiras FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Rubim Vilaverde hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernie Ennis got free with Elias Sardinha in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pascoal Bragança sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Trandeiras FC's Afonso Carreira got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Canove's Devon Wellings broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Pascoal Bragança could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Elias Sardinha made a huge save. Elias Sardinha was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Éder Domingues. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Canove eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
