Mauro Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeferino Guerra in the 10th minute of play. Caetano Figueiras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. In the 25th minute Zeferino Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caetano Figueiras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If António Vilanova had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes BlackCompany got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Onofre. Zeferino Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Framilo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 44 minutes, Catarino Seixas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BlackCompany and the Framilo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes BlackCompany got a freekick which was hit by Catarino Seixas. When Catarino Seixas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when António Vilanova made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of BlackCompany booed when Framilo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Baía didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Vilanovas short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Alexandre Jesus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Framilo fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Framilo's Zeferino Guerra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mauro Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Lustosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, BlackCompany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Figueiras to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to BlackCompany getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Adolfo Macedo hit a great ball. With his leg Alexandre Jesus managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when BlackCompany's António Vilanova fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 71st minute of the match, António Vilanova got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alexandre Jesus was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. António Lustosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ademar Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Framilo had won after a very even match.
