Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Diogo Matos kicked off to start the match. Altino lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clube de Ovar's Sixto Quinteros got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Hamilton Candeias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palames FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamilton Candeias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Palames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Quinteros came free, but Altino lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Altino lago as he didn't even see the shot coming. Altino lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogo Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Diogo Matos in the 81st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Altino lago kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. If Diogo Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Palames FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Clube de Ovar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
