Alexandre lago was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Clube de Ovar booed when SC Sobral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintino Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diogo Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 minutes, Paulo Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube de Ovar and the SC Sobral players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Lameirinhas to make the kick off. In the 72ndth minute of the game Diogo Matos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Sobral's Alexandre lago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 74th minute of the match Manuel Chagas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Manuel Chagas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 75th minute, Manuel Chagas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Sobral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube de Ovar the free kick. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Clube de Ovar. Rui Moura stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alexandre lago. 4-0. 5-0 became the score in the 95th minute when Mariano Antunes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
