In the 13th minute of the game, Gentil Sá landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 13 minutes into the game, Mário Leite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Campeiros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oporto Raptors the free kick. A collision led to Campeiros FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mário Leite hit a great ball. A hard shot by David Valido from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Lucas Fernandes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. José Prada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Lucas Fernandes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorge Severiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Resende's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 25th minute, Américo Vital hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Oporto Raptors's Alcides Barcelos got a free kick in the 27th minute. Vítor Ferreira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jorge Severiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Cardoso in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Severiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorge Severiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Resende's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. 0-1 became the score in the 47th minute when Luís Cardoso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Prada made a kick off. Gustavo Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Severiano having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Oporto Raptors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Valido to maneuver through the defense. In the 60thth minute of the game Xavier Brito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oporto Raptors's Jorge Severiano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Gustavo Resende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th of the match, Gustavo Resende tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jorge Severiano got in the way and made a wonderful save. When Luís Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Campeiros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Oporto Raptors's Jorge Severiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Oporto Raptors from getting a goal against them. Luís Cardoso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Jorge Severiano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. José Prada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Fernandes having to interfere. Campeiros FC's Lucas Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcides Barcelos in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Oporto Raptors's zone, Gustavo Resende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Severiano came out of the goal and Gustavo Resende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Campeiros FC booed when Oporto Raptors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Américo Vital didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 minutes, Américo Vital mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oporto Raptors and the Campeiros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oporto Raptors's Américo Vital got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Vítor Ferreira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Severiano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 90th minute Gustavo Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Severiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jorge Severiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Severiano was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Gustavo Resende capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustavo Resende really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. When the final whistle sounded Campeiros FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oporto Raptors.
