If Samuel lacerda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Samuel lacerda managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Trezeste's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel lacerda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Ponte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel lacerda in the 23rd minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, SC Alcofra's Humberto Faria made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josué Rijo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 31 played minutes SC Alcofra got a freekick which was hit by André Melo. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Alcofra's goalkeeper Filipe Cardoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel lacerda made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, SC Alcofra's Abel Fernandes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josué Rijo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. André Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Josué Rijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel lacerda, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Jorge Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Cardoso having to interfere. If Humberto Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesário Pinto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Filipe Cardoso. SC Alcofra's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. SC Alcofra's Filipe Cardoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save SC Alcofra from getting a goal against them. If Humberto Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Sousa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Josué Rijo. SC Trezeste's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Vieira in the 87th minute of play forced SC Trezeste's goalkeeper Josué Rijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Faria in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josué Rijo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Alcofra fully deserved thier win.
