Rui Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Guarda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Amaro made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Przemyslaw Oleszak sent off a good shot on target. Przemyslaw Oleszak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Falfosa's Rui Amaro threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rui Guarda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Falfosa's zone, Artur Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Pinho came out of the goal and Artur Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Filipe Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falfosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Przemyslaw Oleszak got free with Rui Amaro in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filipe Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Rui Amaro made a huge save. Przemyslaw Oleszak in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rui Amaro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Guarda made a kick off. Artur Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. If Artur Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Sebastião Viegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the game, Przemyslaw Oleszak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1.
