Nuno Henriques who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Nicolas Espinosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Nicolas Espinosa managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Pousas FC's Nuno Henriques fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 37th minute of the match Pousas FC got a corner. FcFake's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorge Abreu ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Nuno Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catarino Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Henriques in the 59th minute of play forced FcFake's goalkeeper Nicolas Espinosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabino Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Carvalho having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, FcFake's Yuri Frois sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Carvalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yuri Frois struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. David Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FcFake.
