Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Albérico Palma started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Miguel Granja fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Picote's protests and gave Miguel Granja a yellow card for diving instead. 5 minutes into the game, Hermes Leal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Courense FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Picote the free kick. Hermes Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes, SC Picote's Altino lago shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silvestre Campos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Picote reached it. SC Picote's Valentim Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Caiado in the 7th minute of play. A long shot from Altino lago in the 12th minute of play was well struck, but Silvestre Campos made a really good save at the right post. Albérico Palma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvestre Campos having to make a save. In the 16th minute, Alexandre Godinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gusmão Sequeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Silvestre Campos made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Courense FC's zone, Albérico Palma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Campos came out of the goal and Albérico Palma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvestre Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albérico Palma in the 24th minute of play. Gusmão Sequeira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvestre Campos having to make a save. Gusmão Sequeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Silvestre Campos made a huge save. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gusmão Sequeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Courense FC's Silvestre Campos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albérico Palma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Silvestre Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Albérico Palma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Courense FC's Silvestre Campos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albérico Palma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Campos having to interfere. If Gusmão Sequeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Heitor Caiado made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, SC Picote's Gusmão Sequeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvestre Campos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Gusmão Sequeira came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the SC Picote fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gusmão Sequeira couldn't finish the play. Albérico Palma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gusmão Sequeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Campos having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Albérico Palma managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Picote's supporters rose to their feet, but Albérico Palma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Campos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvestre Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albérico Palma in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute Gusmão Sequeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Campos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heitor Caiado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Valentim Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Heitor Caiado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Courense FC defense, Dércio Quirino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Campos. The Courense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Campos should have stopped the shot. Yuri Nunes was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Yuri Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Luís Setúbal charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Setúbal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Courense FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Setúbal. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Albérico Palma put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Silvestre Campos. SC Picote's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
